Diademed and draped bust of Mithradates to left. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕ[ΩΣ] / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩ[Ν] - [ΑΡΣΑΚΟY] / EYEPΓET[OY] - ΔΙΚΑΙΟY - ΕΠΙΦΑΝΟYΣ / [ΦΙ]ΛΕΛΛΗΝΟΣ - ΑΡΤΕ Mithradates seated right, receiving palm frond from female figure standing left, holding scepter; above, monogram of ΠΛP (?); below throne, V/A; between Mithradates' feet, A. Sellwood 55.11. Shore 311 ('Tiridates'). Sunrise -. Very rare. Beautifully toned and unusually attractive for the issue. Very minor marks on the obverse, otherwise, good very fine.
